From Feed to Screen

A real personal story posted on X.com has been adapted into a short AI-generated film by [Huski Studio]. The video, uploaded to YouTube, brings to life a warm and touching romance between a couple on a dinner date in China.

The original post, written by X user [liluocheng13], describes a simple evening at a riverside restaurant that turns into something deeply meaningful. It follows the narrator and his girlfriend Lin through dinner, a walk through a mall, and a night that ends with friends at a karaoke bar and a sweet moment captured in a photo.

A True Story,

AI Filmed

The entire narrative comes straight from the post, which reads like a slice-of-life memoir. Lin wears a faded brown T-shirt, light blue jeans, and Nike sneakers. She has no makeup on. The narrator watches her eat, smiling, and feels a sudden wave of happiness when she walks back into the bar — looking ordinary but feeling extraordinary to him.

The most memorable line comes when he tells her: "You still smell like youth. And somehow, that beats everything." 1

The AI-generated video recreates these moments, matching the quiet, romantic tone of the original writing. It was generated using tools on HuskiStudio.com, though specific AI models used were not named in the source materials. 1

Growing Market for AI Films

The release comes as AI-generated filmmaking continues to grow. Other projects like ImagineArt's recent "The Fold" have also been making waves, with creators describing their AI films as epic, brutal, and heartwarming. 2

Meanwhile, Turkish production company Spongeworthy — behind the AI doc "Post Truth" — recently announced its second AI feature, "A Woman Asleep," set to be shopped at the European Film Market. 3

Why It Matters

This project shows how personal social media posts can become the starting point for AI visual storytelling. The original X post was shared widely and resonated with readers because of its honesty and everyday emotion. Turning it into a film keeps that same spirit alive, while showing what AI tools can now do with written narratives.

The video has been described as "short and touching" by its creators. 1
